Meet the Team
Amy Monti, DDS
Dr. Monti has been living in Southern California since 1988, earning her Bachelor and D.D.S. degrees from UCLA (heads up-she's a devoted fan). Looking for a change of scenery, Dr. Monti completed her residency in Pediatric Dentistry in Boston at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Children's Hospital. After two New England winters, she felt that it was time to return to southern California sun and she currently lives in Valencia with her husband, Ryan and children, Joseph and Elizabeth. She enjoys exercising, attending Dodger games, and cheering for the UCLA football team. She is, demonstrably, a sports nut.
Dr. Monti is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also part-time faculty in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at UCLA and an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American and California Dental Associations, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry and Southern California Society of Dentistry for Children.

After graduating from Antelope Valley High School and teaching preschool for 4 years, she attended Pasadena City College for training as a Registered Dental Assistant. She loves working with children and has therefore pursued her career as an RDA working in pediatrics for over 8 years. When not working, she loves spending time with her family and friends.
Ada Polanco, RDA
Ada has lived in the Antelope Valley most of her life. She graduated from Highland High School and attended Clarita Career College where she trained to be an RDA. Ada has only worked with pediatric dentists, and she can't imagine doing anything else. She is happily married to her husband, Armando. They are both enjoying spending time with their newborn (first!) baby, Atalie. Her hobbies include shopping for cute stuff for Atalie, spending time with her family, and watching soccer.
Caitlin Slattery, RDA
Caitlin was born and raised in the Antelope Valley. She graduated from Quartz Hill High School and completed her training in dental assisting at Charter College in Santa Clarita. Caitlin enjoys the challenges and rewards of working with small children and making their visit positive and enjoyable.. She enjoys many outdoor activities with her family and friends, including camping, riding off-road vehicles, and snowboarding,
Cassie Cromer, Insurance Coordinator
Cassie moved to the Antelope Valley when she was ten years old. Having grown up in a rodeo family, it came as no surprise when she became actively involved in the AV Youth Rodeo Association, winning All-around Cowgirl in 2002. Cassie practically grew up in dental offices with her mother, who has been in the field for more than 20 years. Cassie is the proud mother of one daughter, Cammie. She enjoys all things outdoors, bowling, reading, and going to the movies.
Cynthia Haven, Patient Care Coordinator
Cynthia has five brothers and five sisters. Being raised with so many siblings, she learned the importance of patience and communication. She has been working in dentistry for over ten years. She is the proud mother of a son, Dejion. She enjoys reading, bike riding, and spending time with her family.
Dinora Lopez, RDA
Dinora is happily married to her fabulous husband, Dago. They have two wonderful sons-Gary and Daniel. She has been working in dentistry for almost 20 years and has been with us here at Adventure Dental since 2006. Dinora says that as much as she loves her own kids, her heart still has room to share with other children. Her free time is spent with family, at church, and, when she can squeeze it in, exercising.
Janet Stanford, RDA
A graduate of Saugus High School, Janet has lived in the Santa Clarita Valley since 1979. She has two children, Ryan and Danielle, and is very active in the sports community as a cheerleader for Ryan, a football player for College of the Canyons and Danielle, a cheerleader and track athlete at Saugus. Janet has 23 years experience as an RDA, 8 in pediatric dentistry (which she loudly proclaims she "loves the most" because of the kids). When she isn't getting kids to smile in the office, or cheering for her own at sporting events, she is spending time with family and friends.
Michelle Duren, RDA
Michelle spent her early years growing up in Simi Valley, but has spent most of her life in the Antelope Valley. She graduated from Highland High School, but she won't say when. She attended the RDA program at Clarita Career College. She is very happily married and has two children, Hayle and Austin. In the free time she is able to pull together, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends. When she isn't cheering on her kids at one of their sporting events, she is out at the Angels' games cheering for them.
Sarah White, RDA
Sarah grew up in Agua Dulce and attended Valencia High School, where she was a cheerleader. She plans on leaving us someday, if we let her go, to attend a Dental Hygiene program. Sarah holds a 2nd degree black belt in American Tang Soo Do and is a Krav Maga instructor. She loves hanging out with family and friends, and enjoys photography, gardening, and cooking.
